Reason: An increasing amount of pressure is placed on these stars at a younger and younger age, before they are ready to grow up. This pressure leads to negative side effects in the girls' personal lives.
Warrant: Child stars have a lot of pressure placed on them, but it seems to be especially bad for Disney stars.
This issue deserves attention because it is negatively affecting these young stars and their fans. At stake is the emotional, mental and physical well-being of these girls.
I hope to reach those who are maybe not very familiar with these Disney stars. I think this group of readers would be interested because they are not particularly informed and do not already hold strong opinions about the issue.
One key challenge I anticipate is the assertion that it is not the fault of Disney or Hollywood that these girls have turned out the way they have, because not all young Disney stars ended up in the same situation. So I will have to defend my opinion on that issue.
I will use both the Internet and our library's database to search for sources. I expect to use mostly sources from both print and online magazines.
The format for my paper will be a conventional research paper that presents my argument in a neat order, supported by my three examples.
