In todays societies, people are attracted to drama, it can be good drama or bad but people love to hear drama. So when you see a celebrity in a magazine smoking a cigeratte or seeing a picture of a star beating his wife your instantly attracted too. In my opinion, its because we grew up watching this stars on television and deep down we actually want something from these celebrities. Since we cant have their lifestyle or their money we settle for their entertainment either on TV watching from our couches to a theater with them acting or the paparazzi blasting them in a magizine. In reality, we never are mad at them but only thankful to know that we are all humans and we all make mistakes. Thats why fans talk about celebrities as if they know them because they can merely relate to the star.

In my opinion, Vanity Fair was trying to rebuild a broken Lindsey Lohan foundation that were wrecked by a teenage celebrity who was asked to grow up before her time. She was always told that she had to be held to a better standard because of her start status. If you look back alot of disney kids are becoming trouble kids because they are being pushed and asked for too much. The guy from home alone and lindsey would make a great couple in my opinion because they basically live the same lifestyle and both rebel on being the good child. In the fans I your suppose to be these perfect person but they forget they your human and that you have a life and feelings. So vanity fair made Lohan the victim to rebuild her status.
