I’m going to following Miley Cyrus over the next few weeks. The former child star, whose career took off when she stared in Hannah Montana on Disney channel, is now considered one of the most controversial celebrities of this age. In the past year and a half, she has transformed from an innocent star to a teenage mess who seems to be following in the footsteps of a Brittney Spears and/or Lindsey Lohan. She has come out with sexual videos, age-inappropriate photos have circulated the Internet, and she’s been caught doing “legal” drugs. Cyrus is rapidly distancing herself from her original fan base, young girls. I think it will be interesting to see how her transformation from “Hannah Montana” to “Miley Cyrus” fairs with the public. Will these dramatic changes help or hurt Cyrus’ career and reputation?
