Norof, Ethan. " NFL Rumors: Chargers ' Mike Tolbert Slated for injuried RB Ryan Mathews." Bleacher Report ( September 23, 2010).
Originial
With Mathews' chances of being game ready slim to none, back up Mike Tolbert is expected to start in his place. At 5'9 and 243 pounds, Tolbert is viewed more as fullback by some standards but proved that he's a very capable runner after amassing 82 yards on the ground ( 16 carries) and two touchdowns filling for Mathews last week.
Paraphase
Since football have been around height and size has always been a factor in some athletes experiences. Some athletes have heard that they were too small for a certain position, some were told they were too big to play a position. Some athletes believed different and made it their goal to prove it to the world that athletes come in all shape in size and can play any position and well excel playing it. One athlete thats out to prove that he's not to big to play running back is San Diego Fullback/Running back Mike Tolbert which is view by most spectators is a straight fullback. Tolbert proved his ability by racking up 82 yards on 16 carries and two touchdown last week leaving the San Diego speechless and with a decision to make. Do I start him over my first round draft pick Ryan Mathews are do I let him back him up?
